  • To start a claim, please visit www.parkguard.com/file-a-claim and select the website or parking provider you used to book your parking. Then complete the claim form with as much detail as possible and submit it. Submit the form even if you don’t have all the details yet.

  • If you’ve already filed a claim, it is currently in progress. One of our claim adjusters will reach out within 72 business hours if any additional information is needed. Please keep an eye out for an email from Riverwood Claims Adjusters and respond promptly to help move your claim forward.

  • Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of leaving the lot or the end of your parking reservation (whichever is later). Even if you don’t have all the details yet—such as a police report or repair estimate—we recommend submitting your claim as soon as possible to begin the process.

    In general, coverage includes things like door dings, scratches, and theft that occur while your vehicle is parked at the lot.

    Common exclusions include hail, flood damage, fire damage, and damage caused by insects or rodents.

  • Most claims are reviewed and resolved within 10–20 days. This timeline depends on receiving all required information, including a repair estimate from a licensed mechanic or body shop.

  • Yes—providing complete information upfront can help significantly. When submitting your claim, include any photos, receipts, and documentation you have. The most common delays are waiting on a police report or repair estimate, so obtaining and submitting a quote from a licensed mechanic or body shop as soon as possible will help expedite the process.

  • Riverwood Claims Adjusters is a licensed third-party claims administrator that handles all Park Guard claims. They may contact you directly if additional information is needed.

  • No, filing a claim with Park Guard does not impact your personal auto insurance. You are also free to file a claim with your insurance provider separately if you choose—we do not coordinate with your insurance company.
